PRactice - 1st Semester
The expectation of the Verrado Viper Vanguard is to treat every full ensemble rehearsal, individual practice, and sectional as if you were performing at state championships. Therefore, each member of the Viper Vanguard is responsible for memorizing his or her music, drill, and routine. All Vanguard members will attend rehearsals, practice and sectionals fully prepared with working equipment, dot book, music, and instrument.
In order to compete at the highest level, marching band practice will take place throughout the week and will include some Saturdays.
2023 Marching Season Practice Schedule
Full Band Rehearsal
Mondays - 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Practices Tuesdays when no school on Mondays.)
Thursdays - 5:00 PM - 9:00PM
Additional Sectionals and Saturday Practices
Additional practices may be scheduled per section leader or Mrs. Meldrum. These practices will be communicated to band students by their section leader
