Vanguard Involved Parent Support Team is the 501(c)(3) non-profit parent band booster for the Verrado Viper Vanguard band programs.

The VIPS Team sponsors and organizes events, which deepen our community spirit and enhance our children's educational experience at the Viper Vanguard.

We are excited to see what our group will accomplish together.  Your support is crucial to the success of the Verrado High School Band program (marching, drumline, color guard, symphonic and jazz band). You are a member of the VIPS Team if your child is in the band; no membership fee!

We look forward to getting to know you and your band student!

Teresa Panneton
President

Being a mom is great, but being a band mom is the BEST!  Teresa is going on 6 years as an active band parent but brand new to the VIPs board.  Em, her amazing kid is a junior Color Guard member and clarinet player.  Jackson and Colton have a long history in band but have moved on to Arizona State University, where Teresa is a faculty member in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. When not doing all things band, she and her family will be found traveling, going on adventures and making memories.

Ryan Campbell
Vice President

Ryan is the dad of two great kids including Sophomore bass drummer Mikayla and middle schooler Zachary. He and his wife Nicole love being band parents as well as traveling and experiencing new adventures. Ryan is an operations director for an international aerospace and defense corporation, but loves making the most of his free time among the Viper Vanguard.

Margaret Crivello

Volunteer Coordinator

Sara Schweitzer
Marketing/Communication

Margaret is mom of 5-7 amazing kids at any given time. She has been with the Viper Vanguard for going on three years. This year she will have her two oldest daughters in band. Haley is a junior that can be found living her best life on any drum or piano. Gabby is a freshman that is excited to find her place in band and plays acoustic/electric guitar, piano and drums. Being a mom to many is her full time job but on top of that Margaret and her husband, Jeremy, are also small business owners here in Verrado. They love to incorporate their party rentals business into Vanguard fundraisers to help raise money for the band and all of their incredible members.

Sara is a proud mom of three. Two are Viper Vanguard band kids. You will see her husband Darin juggling parking during band events. Her oldest Brendan is a '19 Verrado HS graduate and currently serves in the US Navy. Her daughter Alexia is a '22 graduate and played clarinet for four years in the Viper Vanguard. Jacob is a junior and plays the trombone during the marching season.

Jennifer Lipman

Event Coordinator

Jennifer is a proud mom to Jess, a clarinet player in her senior year. She also has a son who graduated Verrado in 2022 and is attending ASU in the fall.  She never knew how intense and busy band life could be, but wouldn’t change it for the world. When not helping with the band, she’s working or planning her next crafty project or going to a Broadway show.
