Winter Guard
What is Winter Color Guard?
​
Winter Color Guard is a combination of the use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretive movements. Winter color guards can be found in high schools, middle schools, universities, and other independent organizations, some of which are related to drum corps. Color Guards compete inside gymnasiums against other high school color guards. Each group is scored by 5-7 judges on Equipment Analysis, Design Analysis, General Effect, and Music Selection.
