VERRADO HIGH SCHOOL VENOM PERCUSSION

Winter Drum Line 2020

Winter Drum Line (WDL) is an extra-curricular indoor percussion ensemble that competes against other schools in the valley during the second semester. WDL shows are held indoors and involve highly complex music, marching, and choreographed movements. WDL is open to anyone who is interested, even if you do not have drum or percussion experience. 

2020 winter Drum Line season COst: $500

Breakdown of cost

$100 - Verrado High School PARTICIPATION FEE (Must be paid at the Bookstore separately from the remaining $400)

$400 - Uniform/Music/Drill/Props (can be paid for in the VIPS Shop)

These amounts should be paid as soon as possible. All fees paid are not refundable. If a student is unable to pay this amount at the start of the season, they may make payments using the following fee schedule:

 

Monthly Payments

Monthly payments can be made on the VIPS Shop using debit or credit card. If you are paying by check, please make out the check to VIPS Team. If paying by cash or check, please place money in a sealed envelope with the following information inside: Student's full name, parent's full name, Parent phone #, Parent email, and indicate which payment(s) you are covering.

Payment Schedule

  • $100 by 11/29 - Uniform Fee  ($103 if using credit card*)

  • $150 by 12/20 - First Payment ($154.50 if using credit card*)

  • $150 By 1/23 - Second Payment ($154.5 if using credit card*)

Total Fees due to VIPS by 1/15: $400

Total Fees due to Bookstore by 2/1: $100 (you can use tax credit to pay this fee)

* Square charges VIPS a 3% fee for every transaction which impacts the percussion budget. The additional 3% is only added to credit card payments. All cash and check payments do not have a 3% fee. 

The participation fee is to be paid in the bookstore.

If you have paid the participation fee for another class or activity for the 2020 spring semester, you do not have to pay another participation fee.  If your student is on reduced or free lunch, the participation fee will be reduced as well.

 

Alternative Payment Plans

If you are unable to make the above deadlines/payments, please talk to Ms. Meldrum and she will be happy to work with students to create a plan to pay for fees. We do not wish for a student to not participate because of money.
